NPL Policy

The Riversdale Soccer Club (RSC) is a Community club in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs.  The following policy relates to how our club will deal with the National Premier League (NPL) platform established by FFA:

1. The purpose of the NPL is to establish ‘elite’ pathways for footballers in Victoria.  As a result, the football landscape is now principally occupied by either NPL clubs or Community clubs
2. RSC are and expect to remain a Community club and we are not affiliated with any NPL club
3. RSC will make its junior coaches aware of the NPL model and the NPL objectives.
4. Decisions to re-locate to or trial for an NPL club will be solely a decision for player and/or parent
5. RSC will not use its membership database to advertise any NPL club, their programs or NPL events, for example trials.
